Welcome members and guests. We just had our Governing Board meeting and making final plans for our Business Resource Meeting on February 9th. Bring a friend or a business acquaintance to hear Stella Giudicelli from Moneycorp Inc. She will be presenting us another helpful tool when dealing with foreign buyers or investors - Foreign Exchange information.
Last month we attended the Florida REALTORS and Women’s Council of REALTORS mid winter meetings in Orlando which included many educational meetings and a lot of networking. Our new State Line Officers have taken their oath to serve and were sworn in at a beautiful banquet and dancing afterwards. President Robin looked happy and excited to start her year and lead us to success. Barbara Hahn, Nature Coast President was chosen to lead the members in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United State of America. It was an honor to do so. We were also blessed to have our new Governor Rick Scott attend a forum with us, sponsored by the Florida REALTOR family. He was very impressive and informative.
We are looking forward to our golf tournament in April. It will be held at Brookridge Golf and Country Club. We will be looking for players and sponsors and a whole lot of fun. Hope to see you there. I will be talking about this more next month.
Our meeting next month will be a presentation of legislative information. We plan to go to Tallahassee for REALTOR DAYS in April and will be receiving updates and useful current information in anticipation of our trip.
Come join us and attend one of our fantastic meetings and see what Women’s Council of REALTORS is all about. You will be glad you did. We would love to have you as a member. See you there.
I can't believe it is March already. Happy St. Patrick’s Day and Mardi Gras... Mardi Gras was our theme for our March meeting with lots of beads, good food and great speakers which was Gary Schraut, RPAC Trustee and Jack Greacen from Florida Realtors. We all enjoyed the update on Legislative issues , RPAC updates, and we had two members contribute to the fund, plus look forward to going to Tallahassee in April for REALTOR Days. Our Association will be providing a bus to take us there, so let’s all get on board and make a day of it.
We have added two new members to our Chapter and also an Affiliate. Our chapter is growing and we are excited. We are being proactive on renewals, with good response.
Our District meeting is scheduled for April 29th and I will be providing all the information as soon as it is finalized. Please mark this date on your calendar.
Don't forget our meeting next month, April 15th. Our speaker will be Marie Wright with Florida Energy and Air (Green). Look forward to seeing you all there and have a great month. Sell, Sell, Sell... the market is looking better and referrals are in the air.

April Showers bring May flowers. We are having alot of rain and seeing the flowers blooming, the trees coming to life, it is Spring.
April will be a busy month, as we have our Governing Board meeting, followed by a trip to Tallahassee for Florida REALTORS Day. HCAR has hired a bus for our members that will be talking to our elected officials and letting them know our political positions and just giving them the support they need. When we come back, the 15th of April is our Business Resource meeting and our speaker will be Marie Wright Florida Energy & Air. On April 23rd our golf tournament will be at Brookridge Golf & Country Club. Hope to see everyone there. And last but not least, our District Forum will be held at Harbor Hills Country Club at the Villages on April 29th. On April 28th, we will have our Presidents dinner for President Robin. The evening should be exciting and very informative.
I am happy to announce our Chapter has earned the Gold Excellence Award. When we go to Washington DC next month we will accept the award for the Nature Coast Chapter. We also have 3 new members and look forward to their participation in the Chapter.

August 2011 Newsletter
Hello Nature Coast ChapterI cannot believe it is August. This summer has flown by and before you know it, fall will be upon us. I hope everyone has had a good summer and are ready to attend the three programs to finish the 2011 season. September our new Sheriff will be our speaker, so please make sure to attend…Lets give him a warm REALTOR welcome.
August is also the month for the REALTOR Convention in Orlando. If you have never attended, this would be a great year to do so. A lot of great educational programs and Women’s Council of REALTORS will be having meetings that you might want to attend. November will be the National Convention in Anaheim California.
We will be looking for members to get involved with our Chapter and want to step into a leadership role. Nancy Johnson, President Elect, is attending Leadership Academy in Chicago and when she returns, the invitations to consider leadership roles will be sent, plus a personal follow up call.
Look forward to seeing you at the September meeting. I hope everyone is selling homes, and business is good.
President of WCR Nature Coast Chapter
Hello everyone and hope all had a nice summer and ready for fall changes to the leaves and the weather. Our snowbirds will be returning soon and things will be a buzz.
The FR and WCR convention was a success. Had great round table meetings with good ideas for membership and leadership. Fundraising is a part of things and wow what great thinkers. Governor Rick Scott attended the conference and gave us an update on Florida forclosures, politics, and Insurance Coverage for the state. We also got to meet him and got our picture taken with him. It is posted on our website. www.wcrnaturecoast.com
Getting ready for election of new officers for the chapter. We need volunteers and members to get involved. I appreciate all those that have volunteered this year and hope they will continue..
Our meeting this month is September 14th and our new Sheriff Nienhaus will be our guest speaker. As September is Safety month for REALTORS, we thought it would only be fitting. We welcome him to Hernando County and great success in his new job. He was very informative about forclosure homes, safety in numbers and never go alone.
Next month's meeting will be Social Networking with Carol Sanak..She is passionate about her work and I am sure we will learn something new and exciting. Please plan on attending.
We had to cancel our golf outing, but will plan on another one in 2012. We usually have it in April, will let you know when I have a definite date. Our own Linda Vilar will be making a Christmas wreath as our fundraiser for Christmas. I am sure it will be beautiful. Thank you Linda.
Will close for now, remember send a referral to a WCR member.
